La Convention pour la protection de la mer M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e contre la pollution a \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9e le 16 f\u00e9vrier 1976 puis est entr\u00e9e en vigueur le 12 f\u00e9vrier 1978. La Convention initiale a \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9e par des amendements et la \u00ab Convention pour la Protection du Milieu Marin et du Littoral de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e et ses Protocoles \u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9e le 10 juin 1995 puis est entr\u00e9e en vigueur le 9 juillet 2004.
